HITTING COURSE
In our hitting videos, we understand that each hitter has their own stance and swing style. Our videos guide you through different aspects of hitting, explaining the steps for efficient mechanics and effective approaches during batting practice. We focus on continuously improving the basics of your swing, addressing the unique needs of every hitter. Our courses are a valuable resource for drill ideas. With clear voice-over instructions in each video, we make sure every hitter understands the purpose of each drill and gets precise guidance on how to execute.
Foundational Mechanics and Body Awareness – Emphasis on muscle memory movements will provide efficient swing mechanics and maximize the potential of any player.
Adaptability and Adjustability – Develop the ability to hit different pitch speeds at different pitch locations.
Emphasis on Routine – Encouraging the development of a personalized routine will prepare and strengthen the hitting skill set. Preparation and routine will give any player confidence when it’s time to compete.

Drill 1 - Elbow to the Pitcher
Drill #1 is designed to help a hitter experiencing a long swing who has difficulties being consistent. We will target the bottom hand and lead arm in the swing, an extremely important part to producing efficient swing mechanics.

Drill 2 - Back Elbow to Side

Drill 3 - Putting Drill 1 & 2 Together
Drill #3 is a combination of both Drill #1 and #2. As we progress through these muscle memory feels, you will see the swing start to come together.

Drill 4 - Release, Engage
Drill #4 strictly targets how the hips should fire in our swing to create bat speed and power. If a hitter doesn’t generate power from the hips, they will struggle to hit the ball with authority.

Drill 5 - Putting Drill 1 & 4 Together
Drill #5 is where we start to combine lower body movements with upper body movements in our muscle memory feels.

Drill 6 - Putting Drill 2 & 4 Together
Drill #6 serves as the same feel of separation in Drill #5, but now it’s with our top hand and back arm. This specific feel will train an important part of a swing that allows us to be adjustable to different pitch speeds and different pitch locations.

Drill 7 - The Whole Swing
Drill #7 is where the whole swing comes together. Feeling specific movements of the swing in a step-by-step process will help the hitter understand how the body needs to work to be strong and efficient towards the baseball.

Knob to Ball Drill
In the Knob to Ball Drill, we will be feeling the hands working tight to our body. This action will give the hitter direct feedback on whether they are keeping their hands tight to their body or casting their hands away from their body which comes from leading with a straight front arm.

Step Back Drill
A variation of work we can do off a tee or in front toss will help in finding certain ways to feel rhythm and emphasize the importance of how the legs should work in a swing.

Batting Practice
During Batting Practice, it is now time to shift to competing. While we can still focus on proper mechanics, we don’t want to get too caught up in our swing. Emphasizing efficient swing mechanics is for our drill work.
